Rude reception at check-in. Dirty, smelly hallways. Rooms very tihck with chemical smells to mask other odors. Broken fixtures. PAPER THIN WALLS that kept us up all night. And when we returned to retrieve a $70 electric toothbrush that we forgot in our room, they said they threw it away rather than placing it in the lost and found. Lay a little more and AVOID THIS PLACE.

My son and I were in Dayton for a soccer tourney and this hotel was about 10 minutes from Freedom Hobson park - so I thought we'd give it a whirl - rather than staying further north in Dayton, Vandalia, Huber Heights, etc.. Pretty poor choice on my park. The Hotel is in a state of disrepair - dozens of ceiling tiles missing in the main hallway. Every surface feels dirty. The room itself wasn't terrible, but the entire place smelled of a combination of curry and marij*uana. We got there extremely late (11p) and had to leave the hotel by 7a the next morning - so we just decided to hunker down and make the best of it. The beds were OK. The pillows and linens were OK. The bathroom and towel situation was pretty meh - if we were staying for more than 8 hours I would have probably asked to be released and gone somewhere else. It wont kill you - but it wouldn't be a place I would ever stay again.

I recently stayed at the Quality Inn & Suites Fairborn located at 616 N Broad St, Fairborn, OH, over the past weekend to participate in The Haunted Classic soccer tournament in Beavercreek. Upon our arrival, we noticed a Dollar General shopping cart positioned outside the front entrance, filled with dirty laundry. As we entered the lobby, we observed multiple holes in the walls that had been spackled but not painted. While the overall appearance of the lobby suggested that renovations were underway, it was somewhat acceptable. We proceeded to our room, which was acceptable but also displayed signs of ongoing renovations. Upon waking in the morning, we discovered that the quilted comforter was heavily stained with blood. I promptly removed the comforter and went to the front desk, where I was informed that new linens would be provided, and compensation for our stay would be considered. We received the new linens and left for our games. Upon our return from the games, we inspected the bed sheets and then attended a team bonding event at Laser Web. We returned around 8:30 PM and, the following morning, we packed our belongings and checked out. I recounted the incidents to the woman at the front desk and presented her with photographic evidence. She apologized for the situation and indicated that compensation for our accommodations would not be forthcoming, although she assured me that she would discuss the matter with the manager to prevent such occurrences in the future. It is important to note that blood is classified as a biohazard, and it appears that they do not utilize bleach for laundering their sheets and towels. To awaken to a bloody quilted comforter atop you throughout the night is simply unacceptable. The woman at the front desk repeatedly assured me that she would investigate the issue. Based on this experience, I would not consider staying at this establishment again.
