Comfort Suites

Use to come here now the new front desk people are not good if they not high they no where to be found or extremely rude and not accommodating I be taking my business down the road

This hotel should do better. I booked a suite with 2 queen beds. I ended up being given a room with one king bed. Not a big issue for me but no explanation given/or a question from the front desk if it mattered. The website shows pictures of a suite with a sofa, a living room chair, a coffee table, and a floor lamp. There was no sofa, table or floor lamp in the room. Why I really marked my stay as poor is the cleanliness of the room. There was a turd in the toilet when I came in. The stovetop needs to be scrubbed. The carpet had crumbs on it. The walls had dirt on them. I found a maids cart and cleaned the surfaces of the room I would be using and avoided the other surfaces. I also cleaned a few of the wall dirty spots. The carpet, although not terribly soiled, should be cleaned. There was no privacy sign available so I went to the front desk to get one. There was no room number sign by the door but by process of elimination figured what room was mine. The room and the lobby both had a funny smell. Not foul but definitely does not smell fresh. The room has been repainted at some point but paint droplets on various surfaces that a drop cloth would have prevented (small issue but that and nicks in furniture detract from room appearance). On the plus side, the water pressure in the shower was good and the water was hot. Also the hotel is located in a nice area of Canton (why I originally chose it). The air conditioning worked great and was relatively quiet. The bed is comfortable. The fridge is an adequate size and works well and includes a freezer. The lighting is adequate. Breakfast is average with the normal selection of eggs, a meat along with cereal, fruit, waffles and juices. I rate breakfast as average because fruit selection was limited and the fruit was not in best shape. It is August so getting good, fresh fruit should not be an issue.

I went to their site May 13, 2025 and booked a 1 King Bed, 1 Room Suite, Kitchen, Suite. Reservation was 49121768. When I got to the room it had a bed,TV and desks. This place was totally disgusting! Dusty ledges, dirty corners, the bath tub looked like people were walking in it with dirty feet. The furniture holding the TV and desk next to the bed looked like dogs were chewing on it. I am 79 years old and have never seen a hotel room this disgusting until today! I will never stay at this hotel again! As a matter of fact I am doing a personal vendetta to tell as many people about this dump as possible. If the big shots that run Comfort Suites looked at that room and then the name on the building outside I think they would be totally embarrassed and I think a few heads would roll.
