Casino minutes away, and Beavers Bend Park 15min up the road. Close to lots of fast food places. As previous comments stated, hotel is under renovation, and has been for some time. I didn't realize it is not even close, to being completed. Hot items at breakfast cold, as attendant didn’t add water to warmer tray. But breakfast was still ok. For the price we paid, it was a good value. I would stay again.

The list of things that were problematic is long, including but definitely not limited to - a window so filmy that sunlight could not get in, the pool being closed, thick dusty surfaces in the closet, a remote with dying batteries, but most disappointing - breakfast already completely put away when I went to the dining room 10 minutes before it was supposed to end. (The stay was to include breakfast.) But the biggest kicker is that they attempted to charge my card fraudulently for "damages" to an end table, which the bank quickly ruled in my favor after seeing I had footage of the room that I left in impeccable condition. It caused a lot of extra time on my part to deal with this situation. Infuriating! Stay anywhere else first.

We were greeted by Sara at the front desk. She was nice and was able to get us a room on the first floor. The lobby was decorated for Halloween. I was very impressed with the black trashcan transformed into a bat! Our room was extremely clean. For breakfast they have both a waffle and pancake maker. My husband had two waffles. Angie was working in the breakfast area and was very outgoing. Ebby was at the front desk in the morning. She was the one that did all the Halloween decorating. We would definitely stay here again.
