The staff here are rude and borderline incompetent. They also hand out room keys without validating ID's and have a blatant disregard for security and safety. I've been coming to OKC for the AQHA Youth World Show for over a decade and I have never felt so unsafe. The staff did not acknowledge or address my concerns. I will never stay here again and I strongly discourage anyone from staying here. I know families that stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for the for the show and had a significantly better experience.

second floor lift buttons were not working, causing inconvenience.
Room carpet was dirty and poorly maintained.
No clear information on breakfast timings; the board showed 7:00–10:00 AM on weekends, but breakfast was closed by 9:00 AM.
Breakfast items were not refilled, limiting options.
Toilet flush was not working properly.
Overall, the stay was a very poor experience and did not meet expectations.

Our room was on the top floor and it seemed as if they were currently renovating the rooms piece by piece. This is understood to mean bringing new paint to the wall. The silicone joints in the bathroom were still the old ones. The desk seems to have been mounted by someone who's never put a screw in anywhere in his life. We didn't want to put anything heavier on it.
The water pressure in the bath was extremely low. When the toilet flushing was still activated almost no more water came out of the tap.
On the other hand, the beds and blanket were very good.
On the other hand, we had the air conditioning of terror with us. Even in the switched-off state, an engine ran in it and produced constant mid-range noise. This was a nightmare at night and it was the worst night in 3 weeks and 15 different hotels for us.
Much later in another hotel, it turned out that this is technically supposed to be the case so that the humidity in the room is controlled. After all, the windows cannot be opened. In such a case definitely change rooms if possible!
The buffet was pathetic. It didn't even match the La Quinta average. Apart from the numerous dubious figures there, it also looked like it was on a battlefield. Apparently, homeless people come in and help themselves to the buffet. Once, a female employee from the service had to get a man from the reception, who then complimented the person.
In the foyer where you could have breakfast, it was packed early and loud. People were sitting everywhere, waiting for the shuttle to the airport and talking loudly or watching videos on their phones. They blocked the seats that other guests would have needed for breakfast. The ambience was terrible and we did not feel comfortable.
Only the location is good, as it is located directly on the highway, in close proximity to the airport. The city is also not far away and some fast food restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. An airport shuttle service is offered.
This was unfortunately the most disappointing La Quinta we have ever stayed in. The price was very good but there was a reason for that. The audience seemed shady and there also seemed to be numerous workers staying here. In the foyer it was packed and loud early. People were sitting everywhere, waiting for the shuttle to the airport and talking loudly or watching videos on their phones. They blocked the seats that other guests would have needed for breakfast. The photos online are recognizable, but heavily edited and create a much friendlier and brighter image of the hotel. We absolutely did not feel comfortable here and therefore cannot recommend it in good conscience.
Conclusion: Better spend $30-50,- more and stay better.
