Mount Bachelor Village Resort

We used to really like staying here. Customer service has really gone downhill. The first couple of times I called last night, I think I might have been talking to India....very hard to understand and she couldn't answer even some very basic questions. Plus they have a lot of bloated charges to what is listed as a "hotel room." Booking fees, cleaning fees. and some other charges I couldn't even understand. It's too bad, we were looking forward to visiting again. It's gotten a lot worse service-0wise since this Meredith Company took over this location a number of years ago.

Meredith Lodging put us in a condo that was under construction! Boarded up windows. Plastic on furniture. The took 5 hours to move us. Finally got a place at 9pm. Started at 3:45! Next unit had filthy carpet. Hot tub removed. No apologies. When we wanted to extend a day we were told we had to pay a second cleaning and booking fee. Manager texted an explanation. Not even a phone call. Worst vacation experience ever. No one took responsibility. After all that Told us incorrect check out time. Had us check out an hour early! Meredith Lodging is a disorganized mess. Unprofessional. Not knowledgeable about their own reservation system or properties or product. Stay away!

Our stay here was a huge disappointment! We had stayed at this complex 3 years ago and loved it. Unit 313A and B were dirty, carpets stained and pulled up in the middle, holes in the walls, dirty marks on the walls, linen wasn't fresh smelling, the decks and entryway were full of spider webs, etc. It was obvious that the unit had not been deep cleaned in a very long time. The front office sent Angela, from housekeeping, who was great and made it livable for the week that we were there. When I tried to complain, the young woman at the front desk said that I could fill out a complaint form (which she emailed and I never received) and they would decide in 5-7 days. No help at all. No supervisor onsite for the weekend (I asked for a call back which I never got). It was obvious that they did not care as is also stated in other reviews. I am really sad as this is a beautiful complex in a great location. Feels as though Meredith Lodging has dropped the ball here.
