Hotel Modera

The room is spacious and comfortable, and the hotel has a nice outdoor area. They offer a daily buffet breakfast, as well as s’mores from 7 to 8 PM, which is a lovely touch. The front desk staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A special mention to Allison, who was an excellent receptionist—she was very kind, attentive, and always happy to help. Overall, I had a great experience staying at Hotel Zags and would definitely recommend it!

Conveniently located on the MAX light-rail line with service to Union Station and the Portland International Airport, this downtown hotel near PSU has clean and comfortable rooms, a large outdoor patio space for lounging during nice weather, a good breakfast buffet in an attractive space next to the patio, and offers guests recreational equipment to borrow for the stay. Hotel staff were courteous and helpful. I give this place a thumbs-up.

I have stayed at Zags probably more than 10 nights in the past 12 months. My experience is always great... its quiet, relatively affordable, staff are great and always super nice, rooms are nice, beds are comfortable. The courtyard is a really cool spot as well. The breakfast is good enough, its super-walkable and PLS food is surprisingly good - recommend trying it if you are there.
