Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Enola / Harrisburg

This is a DUMP with unfriendly staff, broken furnishings, noisy rooms with banging on the walls from the elevator operation, grossly false overcharging, disgusting food, unclean rooms. Clerk REFUSED to give a receipt on leaving. Live in your car. You'll be better off.

Super Clean Updated Rooms Was a quick overnight and this is my second visit. I will say there were a tremendous amount “convention”, reunion peeps but the quiet hours begin at 10 pm I would absolutely stay again The coffee is gratis in the AM in the restaurant lobby- and very good !

For $200+ per night, I expected more. I stayed in a King Suite which had space for a Pack n Play and air mattress for my 2 young kids. Staff were nice and allowed this to accommodate my family, so that was certainly nice. Staff were great in general. Where this hotel falls short is overall cleanliness and value. While the room had a fridge it was a mini fridge and didn't have a freezer. The couch was also a bit stained, the bed was of average comfort, and the bathroom towels were a bit thin. None of these are deal breakers per se, but considering the location (with all due respect to Harrisburg, I've stayed in nicer hotels with better in-room amenities in major metropolitan cities for as much as this place cost), this room should have cost about $150/night. Beyond that, location is convenient to Harrisburg and the surrounding areas, parking was plentiful, and it felt safe. Breakfast was also decent enough. Overall, I wouldn't say don't stay here, but maybe consider other options or just know you're going to overpay a bit to stay here.
