Super 8 Erie/I 90

This hotel smelled terrible... very outdated, walked in and left without our money to book somewhere else. No manager on duty and told to contact 3rd party. Horrible customer service and conditions were far less than expected. Please don't waste your time or money here. Found out the Wyndham association was removed from this location when we checked into next place, yet is still advertised that way in TripAdvisor.

This reservation through TA was very problematic. We chose the Super 8 for its proximity to the Erie Playhouse and I-90, as well as relatively low cost. When we reached the area, there were side-by-side Quality Inn and Econolodge; no Super 8. We ended up at the Econolodge, where the going man took mercy on us, accepted our reservation, and provided a similar room. While the hotel was aged, the room was nice enough and clean. The cold breakfast (except for one waffle iron) was also adequate. Over all, we rate it average since it was not a great deal, but the receptionist was pleasant and accommodating. There was a shared indoor pool, but we didn't use it. Many families were there, though.

I’m Writing This Review Because I Scheduled My Room For The Wrong Date I Was Trying To Schedule It For Friday June 27,2025 But I Made A Mistake And Scheduled It For Saturday June 28,2025 And I Just Wanted To Change The Date And That’s All, The Employee Was Rude And Very Disrespectful And I Was Trying To Explain And The Person On The Phone Just Cut Me Off And Said No
