Residence Inn Airport

So this was a utility stay, so my expectations were fairly low, but I thought I could expect a Marriott to be consistently clean. This was really gross and disappointing.

This is the second (and last) Residence Inn for me. The staff is excellent. How they can be so upbeat is a mystery to me. The property could be excellent if Marriott would provide normal upkeep. The carpets both in the hallways and room are many years too old. The furniture in the room is so bad that I had to sit on the hard seats in the kitchen because my wife and I would both sink on anything with a cushion. I thought maybe the Residence Inn in Fayetteville, NC was an outlier but it was also long overdue for an overhaul.

Rooms have a nice layout, quiet night sleep. Great breakfast options of eggs, bagels, cereal, etc. Room was clean for the most part, with the exception of the shower. A lot of mold (obvious) on the floor corners. Did enjoy the extra large shower size, tho. Good stay.
