Homewood Suites by Hilton Harrisburg

We stayed at the Homewood Suites for the weekend of 7/26–7/28. Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly, and our experience was positive. The breakfast offered a good variety of items. However, as someone who doesn’t eat pork, I was disappointed that there wasn’t a non-pork breakfast meat option. Both mornings, the only meat served was chorizo with potatoes, so it would have been nice to have an alternative. I also noticed something concerning during breakfast on 7/28. One of the kitchen staff members, a young woman with short red hair, refilled the food on two separate occasions without wearing gloves. Proper food handling is important, and I believe staff should wear gloves when handling and replenishing food to help maintain food safety standards. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but I hope these issues are addressed to make the experience even better for future guests.

Nice place. Hotel is very clean and looks better in person. The free breakfast was nice. I think the scrambled eggs were watery could have been powdered. The Greek yogurt was good, boiled eggs were good. Spacious area to eat breakfast. Nice to have coffee and tea access all day. The suit was spacious. The bathroom was a bit dated. Pool house is outside the property. The restaurant options within walking was excellent. Staff super nice. Maps and brochures available.
