Very Disappointing Stay Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was not a good experience. From the moment we arrived, the overall appearance of the hotel was disappointing. The doors were dirty, the paint was peeling, and there was an unpleasant smell throughout the property. When we entered our room, there was also an odor. The bar of soap provided had already been used, which was very concerning. There was no iron or ironing board in the room, no trash can in the bathroom, and the dresser was broken. We called the front desk to request an iron and were told that someone would bring one up. After waiting about 30 minutes, we still had not received it. We called again and were then told that they could not bring it to our room and that we would have to go downstairs to get it ourselves.

ROACHES!! DIRTY!! Booked for 3 nights, left at 1 am the first night. Rooms look NOTHING like the photos advertised and our room was dirty and infested with roaches! Our power kept blowing every time we turned something on which was very annoying. Sketchy area, people drinking in the parking lot.. save your time and money and stay some place else! This place is beyond disgusting. Health department should shut them down!

My wife and I booked this hotel because it was listed as budget friendly and wheelchair accessible. She uses a powered wheelchair for about 95 percent of her mobility, so we were very disappointed, after an 8- hour drive, to encounter three separate obstacles just on the way to the lobby. The very narrow dip in the curb still required her to get the front wheels of her chair over a lip approximately one inch high, and once we got her on the sidewalk, she was still 20 yards from the entrance. In front of the entrance, we found a "ramp" that's barely longer than the three steps it's cut into; the thing has maybe a 3:1 slope at best. I had to push her up the ramp, not just to assist her spinning tires, but also to ensure she didn't tip backwards. And finally, at the summit, when the outer doors opened automatically, I turned back towards the car to start unloading, only to have my wife call me back to open the inner, heavy, non-powered doors so she could enter the lobby. Ownership and/or management apparently subscribes to the increasingly popular school of thought that says you can install a few grab bars and a handheld shower head and call the room wheelchair accessible. I'm distressed that we're spending three nights here, and the shower is too dangerous for her to use. The ancient fiberglass tub might have had a decent non-skid texture before they glued a smooth rubber mat over the bottom, and the non-adjustable shower head won't reach to where a shower chair would go if they had one, which they don't. I can validate the other reports that many areas smell like smoke, but I'll disagree that those odors come from tobacco products; we're pretty sure it's cannabis that we smell. Finally, our first two nights can reasonably be considered "budget friendly," but our third night, a Friday, will cost us about as much as the first two nights combined.
