HAMPTON INN SUITES HERSHEY

This hotel has 3 floors. The lobby is beautiful. The breakfast was great but offers no milk alternative which is sad because almond milk lasts a long time and is not overly expensive. The pool was just ok. I loved the outdoor space where they had corn hole. The gym was nice as well. The room, well, ours wasn't as bad as some of the families we were traveling with but I had someone's left over food in the fridge, the cleaning was not great, they left us no extra toliet paper for a family of 4 on a 3 day stay so when we ran out, I had to call the desk. The hallways had a damp smell to them. The staircases really need to be repainted. My daughter was walking around the pool and she fell into the filter because the lid wasn't secured properly and bruised her whole shin. All the staff besides the front desk clerk look miserable and aren't friendly. The front desk staff was very nice and welcoming. I definately won't stay here again. I am really supposed that Hilton puts their name on this place. Either the Hilton name has gone downhill or corporate hasn't been here to access the property.

We had a huge issue upon check-in regarding points and some free night certificates. I called a couple nights prior to the stay and they said everything looked good and to just bring the certificate upon check-in . We thought it was sorted out but it wasn’t and we were told that it was a better deal to pay for a night and gave us the cheapest night to pay because of the way we booked it would be a waste of point due to the points spread out over the 3 nights. We agreed no points used and pay for a night. The stay was ok,elevator was a little scary but breakfast was good and staff was nice but the pool looked rough… it was constantly foamy and had a film on it. Well when we checked out we noticed that the room was charged which was agreed upon but our points were gone. We contacted the hotel and we were told it we were wrong by the general manager and the points, cash and our free nights were used. But the cost we were charged was for one night….where are our points? They refused refund the points . Pretty disappointing. Will not return

This hotel needs updating - dated. Dirty towels left in room from previous occupants. Elevator broke when we were leaving with all our bags.
