Comfort Inn (Pottstown)

My wife and I stay here 3 times a year to visit family. We have done this for 4 years. Front desk staff, Julie and Brian know us, personally greet us and are sincere in there welcoming us. All staff, kitchen, room cleaning, custodians say "hi" , ask if we need anything and are "real" In their interactions. All of the rooms are clean and everything works. Never have had any issues. We also see the staff interact with each other and they get along well and work well with each other.

My stay exceeded expectations in every aspect - cleanliness, comfortable beds, customer service, breakfast, friendliness, etc.. The only negative was that the 3rd floor hallway reeked of pot all the time we were there (our room was fine). I reported this to the front desk, but I do understand it's something they cannot control.

My flight to the area was canceled by the airline and I was unable to keep my reservation. The hotel front desk, desk supervisor, and general manager all clung to their "policy" of requiring 48 hours notice for a cancelation and refused a refund. The rudeness and condescending tones when dealing with an upset customer already having a bad weekend due to the unexpected loss of travel plans is unforgivable. They kept my $371 and treated me like I caused THEM a loss. I do not recommend doing business with this hotel. You're just a dollar sign to them, not person.
