Budget Inn Williamsport

This is a very nice family owned hotel. I was in town to help my 95 year old mother. Just needed a single room. The owners were so kind and upgraded me to a larger room at no extra cost. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was immaculately clean. All the appliances worked perfectly. The bed was super comfy with plenty of pillows and blankets to spare. The owners knew I was there to help my elderly mother and even offered to help with anything I needed for her. This will be my home away from home whenever I need to be in Williamsport.

This place is not worth paying anything for. The door handles were sticky. Bathroom door handle was like touching sticky gum. Two wall lights were not even there only part of fixtures left on the wall and wires were exposed. Bathroom mirror was shattered. Remote doesn’t work so it was like the TV from 70s. Wall was paper thin. Next door were fighting from 2:30am on for hours. We could hear every single words were said between the couple. No working phone to call front desk about the ongoing fighting and all the noises. No one there to take care if you encounter any issues. No comforters in the room so no way to cover ears to block out any sound during their fights. Again there is no way to ask for one from the front desk as no one was there.

I travel a lot and know what good looks like They claimed king bed but it was a full size and other rooms I looked at were the same. My boyfriend is on the big and tall side so this bed is a joke. No blanket, just a sheet and bedspread, the one I would normally take off the bed. Many hotels don't change bedspreads out daily. Trash was never emptied from last people, hair in the trashcan in the bathroom. Some sticky stuff on the sink. Good thing I bring lysol wipes!!! I have trouble with my knee and needed an elevator but they don't have one. No handicap accessable yet we have a handicap room on the second floor. Not D ADA compliant. Would not give us a first floor room. They wanted us to park our truck across the street rather then the parking lot of the hotel. Front desk person was not nice!! This place is terrible and I would not recommend it to anyone!!!
