Overall, pretty disappointed, especially given the price point. The rooms were not well-maintained (or particularly clean), the staff were pleasant but several were unaccommodating, room service was very late, other guests in my party had mistakes with their room assignments, the air conditioning system did not work properly, there were hidden fees (which was particularly annoying given the poor accommodations).... I could go on. While the location was great and the facility was pretty, it was not the luxurious experience I was expecting. I would not recommend. PS That said, I would highly recommend adding an awning to the driveway. Nobody wants rain exposure.

Very disappointing experience at Hotel Viking, especially for the price point. During our stay, our room was never serviced by housekeeping. After coming back from a long day and realizing nothing had been done, we eventually had to call just to get clean towels. We also had electrical issues in the room, including lights flickering on and off and outlets that did not work. What made the experience even worse was the complete lack of follow-up afterward. I raised these concerns with the front desk in person when checking out and was told that a manager would be contacting me. No one ever did. I then emailed the hotel multiple times to give them an opportunity to address the situation privately before posting a review, and I never received a response to those emails either. For a hotel positioning itself at this level and charging the rates it does, I expected much better service, communication, and accountability. Issues can happen at any hotel, but ignoring a guest after they raise legitimate concerns is what ultimately made this a particularly disappointing experience. Unfortunately, based on both the stay itself and how the hotel handled the situation afterward, I would not recommend Hotel Viking.

We booked two king suites and it was VERY expensive. The ceiling panels in our hallway were hanging down exposing mold and wires and the two suites (which were the same price,) were incomparable. Our suite was a dark tiny room with a tiny shower and zero space while the other suite had a huge bathtub and was double the size. The AC didn’t work in our room, they lost one of our bags, the hotel had power issues and couldn’t serve breakfast or lunch one of the days. It was constant issues- I would NOT stay here again.
