HAMPTON INN AIKEN SC

The Aiken Midtown Hotel (formerly the Hampton Inn) was a very pleasant surprise. The bed was very comfortable, the location was convenient to shops and restaurants, the breakfast was a nice touch, the rooms were fresh and clean, and the pool looked inviting and sparkling clean. Although the elevator had a musky, mildew smell, it didn't carry over anywhere else. Every staff member made my unexpected visit a wonderful experience. I will definitely stay here the next time I visit Aiken, SC. The value of this hotel tops it all. I usually stay at an Airbnb, but I've realized they aren't all what they are cracked up to be, so I will choose hotels for most of my travels.

I am a diamond member and love the hilton chains. The staff were all very nice and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was as one would expect at a hampton inn, hot large selection and very good. Something for everyone.

Nasty, dirty hotel. This hotel is way past its prime and is an embarrassment to the Hilton brand. My room was filthy, with broken tiles, rodent droppings and mold in the shower. In addition, this room was an upgrade with a spa tub that had track lighting above it with a bulb hanging out. To be fair, I told the desk when I left and showed pictures and they offered an adjustment, but nothing has been sent or shown since. There are plenty of other hotels around where you would not have to pay money for dirt.
