Ashworth by Elliott Beach Rentals

Our family has stayed at the Ashworth for the past several years in various units and have been pleased with the cleanliness of the units. This year we stayed for the first time in Unit 302. We were disappointed in how dirty this unit was-food item under the bed, dirty walls, horrible mattresses in both guest rooms, unit needs updated, and website pictures don’t reflect true furnishings. I will attempt to upload pics from our stay.

First, I would like to say that I have been coming to the Ashworth for over twenty years, and I love it. I love the location near all the shops, restaurants, and bars, and the fact that it's right on the beach. This is a review for Elliott Beach Rental. This company will lie to you, and you will have to finish up cleaning the room you paid them to clean. This is the review I left on Google and for them. They then lied in my reply on Google and in my emails. I have screenshots of everything. I am writing to formally complain about our recent stay on Saturday, July 11th. While our room was not ready until 7:00 PM, the primary issue was the dishonesty regarding the status of the room. We arrived at 3:00 PM and were told the room was not ready. We left and returned around 5:30 PM to wait in the hallway directly outside the room. Nobody ever exited or entered the property while we were there. Despite this, we were informed that the cleaning crew had to work around our belongings. This is impossible, as we were waiting outside and did not have the entry code to bring our belongings inside. Furthermore, when we finally received the text at 7:00 PM stating the room was ready, the cleanliness was unacceptable. We had to sweep the floors and do additional cleaning ourselves, and our linens were provided in a bag covered in sand. I am highly disappointed by both the poor service and the misleading information we were given

The resort is right on the ocean. We stayed in 2 different units during our stay. The first was a 2 bedroom - it was nice. The 2nd was a 3 bedroom unit. The view is amazing. Furniture needs replacing as it's showing wear and tear. Overall, the units are well equipped for all our needs. We did not like the gym - it's very small and park of the parking lot (not within the bldg itself).
