Tilghman Beach And Golf Resort

**Farewell, Tilghman.** After 11 consecutive years of renting at the Tilghman during the same week each year, this was my family's final stay. It is also the last time I will recommend the resort to my travel clients. As a travel agent, I have referred an average of 3–4 families each year to rent three-bedroom condos because I had confidence in the property. Unfortunately, this year's experience confirmed that the resort has declined in both customer service and the condition of the accommodations. The three-bedroom condos we stayed in were noticeably dated and showed significant wear. Compared to previous years, the quality and upkeep no longer met the standard we had come to expect. The half empty parking lot should have been a sign. The biggest disappointment was our experience with the General Manager, Dustin. During our interactions, I found him to be rude, dismissive, and unapproachable. His comments and manner of addressing our concerns were unprofessional and left us feeling unwelcome. This year, our group originally reserved six three-bedroom condos. Approximately two months before our arrival, one reservation was canceled. A second reservation was canceled just 30 minutes before check-in, creating unnecessary stress for our group. In addition, one family chose to stay elsewhere because they were concerned about the property's declining condition. As a result, we went from five planned condos to only three. After 11 years of returning to the Tilghman, it's disappointing to end what had become a family tradition. I can no longer recommend this property to my clients or to other travelers based on our recent experience. I hope management takes guest feedback seriously and makes meaningful improvements, because many longtime guests have supported this property for years. Unfortunately, our family will not be returning.

Our family has spent every vacation at this resort for the last 11yrs, but after our most recent stay, we're done. Sadly, we've watched this property steadily decline under its current management. What was once a welcoming, top-tier destination is now defined by poor customer service and total indifference. The staff, to include management, is now dismissive, and unwilling to listen to basic guest concerns. When one of the families with us tried to discuss their concerns, management became defensive rather than taking accountability. He was completely unaccommodating, offering zero flexibility or effort to make things right in their situation. He went as far as to cancel the reservation without completely hearing the customer out. This action left a family with 2 small children, who'd driven 6hrs to get there, having to find somewhere else to stay. If you value good service as a paying guest, save your money, Tilghman is no longer worth it.

My family and I have been staying at the Tilghman Beach and Golf Resort every single year for the past eleven years. Every annual trip used to be an absolutely great experience, but unfortunately, this year was a massive disappointment. It is incredibly sad to say goodbye to a place that held over a decade of family memories, but we will no longer stay at this establishment. It feels like there has been a major management change behind the scenes, and not for the better. The money spent to stay here is far too high to justify the attitude and disrespect we received from the current management team. While the front desk and ground staff remain very friendly, the management themselves are not friendly at all.You can see the negative impact of these changes just by looking around the property. In past years, the parking lot used to be completely full, and finding a parking space was a daily struggle. Now, there are plenty of open spaces to park because families are clearly choosing to stop coming here.The value is simply gone. They no longer offer as many weekly activities for the children as they used to, leaving the kids with very little to do. Change is always good, and it is time for our family to find a new tradition.I do not recommend spending your hard-earned money at the Tilghman Beach and Golf Resort. There are plenty of other options in the area that will actually appreciate your business.
