Chattanooga Marriott At The Convention Center

The location and amenities are what I expect at a downtown Marriott. The people are what set the Marriott Chattanooga Downtown apart from the rest. Everyone from the Valet team,registration, and restaurant are wonderful. Denise Heward, THE Hostess with the mostess every morning at the M Club, sets an upbeat tone for the day. She treats everyone like friends and family she is happy to see again. Evenings at the M Club, Jennifer keeps the same energy. I asked for tips on the hidden gems in the area and she was on point with each one I was able to checkout this trip. Denise and Jennifer made me feel like I was right at home every day. I can't overstate how much that means when I'm working so far from my friends and family.

My stay this week at Marriott Chattanooga Downtown was fantastic (even with a fire alarm on Tuesday). The hotel room was great. Impeccably clean with a comfortable bed. The staff was very accommodating and hospitable and I would like to highlight one staff member in particular. Denise Howard, in the M Club exemplified what hospitality should be. I have been a Marriott Bonvoy member for well over 10 years, have had Ambassador level status previously so I have seen many hotels and have had many nights away from my family. As a seasoned traveler, you often find that disconnect and feel some isolation, but Denise was so welcoming every morning when I went to get breakfast. From day one, she asked me my name and every day she addressed me by it. That small gesture made a big impact on me. She was very attentive and jovial everyday and just made me feel that I wasn’t just another traveler. I am happy that I chose this hotel for the week and will recommend it (as well as breakfast with Denise) to all my friends, family, and colleagues that will be traveling thru Chattanooga. Thank you.

Denise Howard is a great asset to the MARRIOTT organization. Denise who works in the M club has a great attitude and is extremely professional. I noticed how she spoke to me and spoke to the other guests, making everyone feel special as she remembered every guest’s name. I stay at a lot of Marriott properties and generally, all the staff are professional and accommodating. Denise seems to take this to the next level as she manages the M club during breakfast. Denise, thanks for a great experience.
