My wife’s and I’s stay at The Dwell Hotel was nothing short of exceptional—and that’s largely thanks to Harrison. To call him “exemplary” would almost be selling him short. From the moment we walked through the doors, Harrison delivered a level of service that was truly next level. After a long and frustrating day of travel on the interstate, his warm, welcoming, and genuinely charming personality immediately put us at ease. He went above and beyond in every way—whether it was securing fantastic dinner reservations or sharing his deep knowledge of Chattanooga that helped us make the most of our visit. His attention to detail and authentic care for guests is rare and incredibly refreshing. Harrison is not just great at what he does—he elevates the entire experience of staying at The Dwell Hotel. He is, without a doubt, a tremendous asset to the property. 5 stars all the way.

In Chattanooga for a wedding and selected the Dwell for location and the odd rule of not allowing kids! The clerk, Mark, was very knowledgeable on building history recited while showing us to our room. Could have been 38 on the back of the property. Hotel is furnished in mid-century and in a fun and cheerful way. Lots of public spaces to gather... in one area on first floor is a mannequin well dressed for the times! Fun! Lovely bar which we just didn't get to try. Parking was valet except one evening when we had to walk the two blocks to park and then retrieve the next morning. There was a continental breakfast included in our stay for the first morning we went down not expecting much... but getting less. There was one couple there ahead of us looking and circling and then departing. Scones were the pastry and there were clear tubes filled with raisin brand and then Cheerios with a carafe of milk. My wife declined and went for the scone. After pouring the milk I noticed Cheerios in my raisin brand... was there a big spill and all just scooped up? The bowls and flatware were another thing. They just were not clean. Perhaps rinsed at some point. The coffee cup was the same. Just not clean and the coffee was watered down D the point it should not have been called coffee. We had the same experience with glasses in our room, just not clean... which brings me to drinking water. There were two small milk bottle looking containers in the room and we were told we get filtered water from a machine on the second floor. We were on the third. So all in all the stay was fair with good beds and towels and such. We had a nice walk to City Cafe Grill which is open 24/7. Really good brunch. Been there for years! So we enjoyed Chattanooga and had a safe place to sleep. Not all bad.

We only stayed here one night, but wished we were here for more. Check-in was seamless and not only was our room available a few hours before normal time, we had an upgrade. Whilst being taken to the room, we were given a brief history of the building and the surrounding area. Staff were super friendly and very welcoming. The hotel is quirky, kitsch, retro, stylish and oozes charm around every corner. The king size bed was super comfortable and the bathroom (massive shower & bath) was spotlessly clean and included everything you would expect from a top quality hotel. The breakfast was a great start to the day and the blueberry scones were delicious. Not a huge amount of choice, but what there was suited us perfectly. The coffee was much needed! Unfortunately we weren't around to enjoy the bar, but hopefully we will be back to enjoy a cocktail in the not too distant future. If you want a hotel that's a different vibe to corporate offerings, then you should look no further.
