HAMPTON INN GATLINBURG TN

We have stayed at this location for probably 17 years. The location is amazing. The rooms though small, are well-maintained and many offer creekside balconies. We love the pool and the lounge area outside by the lobby. The people make this place great. Kyle, Shania, and everyone at the desk. The maintenance staff. The breakfast attendants. They should really be the Hampton Inn standard and train other employees. We have been here many times and will continue to stay here.

Initially when I booked this I didn’t see the $15 per night parking charge - like the rest of you - so I was already on the defensive as we come to Gatlinburg numerous times a year. Check in was at 3 we arrived around 130 and the lady (freezing at the counter-with jacket on.. ya know who you are 😃) was so nice and helpful - her demeanor went above and beyond which 💯 changed my feelings over the 15 bucks to park. She did some room juggling and let us check in to our room upon check in! I had room 109 which had a beautiful view of the river and the balcony stuck out a few feet then the other balconies which made it feel more private - remember room 109 people! The room itself was clean - updated - tv on the wall - shower water pressure was excellent! Bedding and pillows were all clean ( yes I checked) plenty of towels in the room too! AC worked very well! Shampoo/Conditioner/Body wash all provided - also a hair dryer - small frig - microwave - iron and board also there. Breakfast was typical hotel fare - quick bite and go - but the entire “kitchen” area looked clean! It does have a outdoor pool and a whirlpool with towels provided at pool All hotel staff made for a pleasant quick getaway! Until next time!

This is a perfectly situated hotel in Gatlinburg with easy walking to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The room was great with views over the creek plus a fireplace!!!! Balcony sitting was perfect. The employees were spectacular especially (and yes this isn't the correct name perhaps or spelling) Shania who checked on the room being ready and telling us about a site I asked about. Being a Diamond member, the goodies were provided and she reminded we could park in a Diamond spot.
