Upon checking into this property, I noticed that the king suite was missing the microwave and the desk chair was broken (Missing Arm). When I went back down to the lobby to return the luggage cart, I mentioned the issues to Nancy (Front Desk Clerk). She was very helpful and very polite. She offered to move me to a room directly across the hall from where I already was.
Once I returned to my room, the room phone rang and it was the GM for the property that wasn't currently onsite. His name is David Burnett (david.burnett@hilton.com) 901-872-4453. He stated that they would be more than happy to move me across the hall and asked if that would be okay. I politely told him that this room was a "dump". Apparently Mr. Burnett can't take criticism about his property. Instead of simply taking the microwave and chair out of the vacant room across the hall, instead he decided to escalate this by his following actions. He immediately decided to tell me that I was to vacate the property, they were checking me out 20 minutes after arriving. He didn't give me a chance to even speak further and hung up on me. I called the front desk and asked Nancy to re-connect me with the GM. She attempted, but Nancy called the room back and stated that he had nothing further to say.
Well Mr. Burnett, it appears from multiple other reviews that your lack of leadership and customer service skills lack a lot. Just seeing the "management" replying to multiple negative reviews that nothing has been done about this GM should tell you all you need to know. This property is so poorly ran by Mr. Burnett, even Helen Keller could see it!
