The Hilton Garden Inn Nashville Airport

🛑 AVOID AT ALL COSTS 🛑 We’re do I even start. We booked a room for 1 night here before staying at our main accommodation. We flew in at 12.30am and got dropped off at 1.15am we got to the desk to check in and the guy behind the desk showed little to no care, asked for the name the booking was under and then proceeded to tell us “sorry we don’t have any rooms for you, we’ve given it to someone else” we continued to tell him we had paid, had a booking confirmation number and again show no interest in seeing it and dismissed us off. We were told that “it’s first in best dressed and that there’s nothing he could do” so apparently booking in advance means absolutely nothing and will just take your money and run. we asked to speak to someone else but apparently there was no one else there but supposedly called his boss and his boss told him the same thing he told to us. We requested a refund and was told we have to take it up with our booking provider so we’re now an extra $350aud out of pocket because they gave our room to someone else. I have a feeling we “threatened” him and a distressed button was pushed because a female police officer walks in and security. we ask her for help and she says “this is a civil matter and I can’t do anything (fair enough) but then we asked if she could help us find a hotel and we just got shrugged off and was told to go walk around and find a room. It’s 2am, 3 young Aussie girls that are in a foreign country, in a town we’ve never been in before left with no bed. Absolutely disgusting service.

Wow, where do I even begin? This place is definitely low-class. There’s no gym; it only has a chair, a few dumbbells, and a room. They call it a gym, but it’s nothing more than that. The thermostat and door lock are falling apart. The ironing board looks like it’s been there for about 15 years and has ruined my clothes. The smell throughout the place is like insect killer. And to top it off, the doors to the hotel itself, especially the back door, don’t work.

It’s like a new hotel after its recent remodel. New furniture, flooring, fixtures, etc. Still finishing up as restaurant and bar will open soon. Fitness center still has a few more items to be delivered. Shuttle was fast, clean and friendly. Limited hours for now. Call hotel for hours before booking. Nick was great at reception. Friendly, informative and professional. Really good Mexican bar and grill (La Parrilla) is an easy two block walk.
