River Place Condos

I was willing to over look the disgusting bugs, the fact that their was no hot water on our first night (kinda defeats the purpose of a jacuzzi tub) and the general condition of the place knowing it was cheap to begin with - what I will not overlook after much time considering or not to make this review, but I have decided to go ahead and let other know about the horrible treatment my family and I was experienced for a weekend trip. The front desk women over charged my family hundreds of dollars (refunds take DAYS) and instead of apologizing directly attempted to push responsibility on to my family in multiple ways and none of them were appropriate in behavior. I left the office with my two small children realizing they were not going to even attempt to rectify their mistake in any way other than trying to make it OUR fault - the only fault we have is by staying in what they rudely told me in an email is a “family owned” business. Well maybe you shouldn’t hire people who chase a woman and her children out in a parking lot screaming and hollering and cursing at them about your personal life hardships. Hard times are never an excuse to act this way and further double down on your mistakes and poor emotional control via the emails in an attempt to speak with a real manager/owner - instead I was further harassed. I waited until my family finally got their refund before making this review as it should have never occurred. TLDR: it’s a roach motel at best, staff is rude and unprofessional. We will never waste our money here again and you shouldn’t either. Do better. EDIT: I knew you wouldn’t take responsibility yet again, you’re the one lying about how it was. I TOO have your rude a$$ emails and I’ll enjoy posting them to my social media following. It doesn’t matter if I WAS speaking about you (I wasn’t), I was making sure my family would be okay over the weekend financially, but now I will lmfao especially after your response. Why would I let you know about other issues after your insane unhinged behavior? You take zero responsibility. This is NOT how you speak to customers. Keep your useless prayers, you need them more than me. We both know refunds are not INSTANT. I hope your business falls apart just like your staff does at the slightest issue apparently.

If your there for a lot of activities and just need a place to lay your head this is the spot. Great staff, clean rooms and a comfortable bed. The new owner is doing a lot of upgrades including new flooring and larger TV's. Upgrade to the river view rooms, it's worth it!

Check-in & out is the best we’ve ever had. I loved that we could check- in by email or phone. There’s no cleaning before you leave just taking the trash to the parking lot. Parking was readily available but tight as they were full during our stay. I do wish there had been more handicap parking. The ladies in the office are great and were readily available to help us with any questions, even after the office closed for the day. We stayed in #204. This is a 2 bedroom, 2 full baths, a small fully equipped kitchen for families, with a 6 seat dining table next to it. The living room was open with a fireplace and TV. You have 1 bedroom and bath on the right as you come in and the other bedroom and bath is on the other side of the living room. Our favorite part during the stay was drinking our coffee on the balcony over looking the river or just sitting outside on it talking. The balcony is spacious with 4 outdoor chairs and table. River Place Condos is located just behind the Parkway, but secluded from the noise that occurs on the Parkway. This was our first visit to these condos because we normally prefer to be further out from the city, that is until this trip. It was nice being 5-10 minutes(due to heavy traffic) away from anywhere on the Parkway or Dollywood. There is a nice size outdoor pool also. We will be back and hopefully can get the same condo.
