Spirit of the Smokies Condo Lodge

We checked in on July, 31st, 2026 and checked out on August 3rd, 2026. I checked in under William Hollingsworth. This is a copy of a previous review that I left on another site...... 4/10 Poor Randy Traveled with family Aug 9, 2026 Disliked: cleanliness, property conditions & facilities The room looked clean enough, but I should have done a thorough inspection. There were bed bugs in our room, I had to make a trip to the doctor, after our stay. I was prescribed antibiotics, because the bites were so bad, also cost me a day of work. I couldn't find an email to contact the hotel, so I called the front desk. I told them about our room, so they wouldn't give it to someone else. They said that they would block it off and inspect it. I never received an apology, not one single sorry. I won't be able to go back there again. Here is the response I got to my review. This is by far the worst place to stay. While my daughter and I was unloading our car, we witnessed a drug activity. While heading up to the room in the elevator it smelt like marijuana. The entire 3rd floor smelt of weed. Once we arrived in the room we attempting use the restroom but the toilet didn’t work, shower didn’t work, and the room smelt of marijuana. The feint desk was notified and I was told they can’t control what people do while staying there. When the maintenance guy came to the room he knocked and came in, and stated it doesn’t work he will be back. All of this began before 8 PM and at midnight is was not fixed. I asked at one point to be moved to another room and the guy said there was none available. A little after midnight he said I might can move you. I requested my money back the lady said we won’t approve that. I packed my daughter and myself up a little after that which was after midnight and got another hotel.

The stay was pretty good I am not going to lie. We had a great time and we went indoor swimming in grand smokies resort lodge. This was the best day ever
