Best Western Morristown Conference Center Hotel

The pictures online show it to be a nice place. I showed up to a dingy dump. The room was not only dirty, it smelled like piss and mold. Both the AC unit and the vent fan in the bathroom rattled so loud it was impossible to sleep. No way in this world that I’d ever stay here again!

Fresh finishes on 3rd floor. The second floor is being renovated; that is the entry level on the parking lot side. You have to walk into the second floor to get to the stairs or elevator or stairs to the 1st or 3rd floors. The paint fumes are strong at the moment. Disappointed that the large "mini-fridge" didn't have a freezer compartment. King size pillows, not those half-size pillows. Good bed. Good shower. Good breakfast. Exhaust fan in bathroom stopped up with lint, so it wasn't really moving any air.

How on earth are there positive reviews on this place?! (And why don't we sites allow for ZERO stars?) We arrived to a place that looked neglected.. from the plants outside to the garbage stacked four feet high outside of the main entrance. The people at the front desk are rude or don't care (or are used the hearing complaints on the daily) The hallways smelled like a cleaning product that they were probably using to mask the actual smell of the place. But what about our room, you ask? Well that, my friends, was a humid room that smelled of mildew and urine. The only thing nice about that room was the way they folded the towel on the sink. The bedding was moist and the bed sagged in the middle. One of us who is severely allergic to mold started sneezing. We used the toilet and left to demand a refund... We will see if we get one....
