HAMPTON INN STES AMARILLO WEST

I JUST WANTG TO TAKE THE TIME AND SAY THAT AT FIRST I WAS SCARED BECCAUSE OF THE REVIWES BUT FOR MY EXPERENCE IT WAS NOTHING LIKE THE REVIWRS MAKE IT SEEM I was traveling 12 hrs. and I showed up a little early for check in time but Priscilla the manger seen I was exhausted and her front desk employee Iris by the way was very sweet and kind let me check in. when I went to my room it was nice and cool smelt great in there and I instantly laid on that bed and slept like a baby, when I got up that next morning the breakfast was GREAT all types of hot food and cool food SHOUT OUT TO THE STAFF will be stopping here when I come to Amarillo

I was taking a trip across many states and since I am a Hilton Honors member, I thought it would be good to syay with the Hilron brand. Never stated at a Spark until this trip. This review is not indicative of all Spark locations, but just this one. When I first drove up, I saw that the landscaping was very shotty, it had many bare spots with nothing, just dirt had not been maintained at all. Weeds were abundant. There was trash in the parking lot. The property had been a Hampton previously, but it is not up to Hilton standards, in my opinion. As for the inside, tjere was a scent that smelled like a cheap type cleaner thst permeated the hotel. In addition, the shower curtain was torn. I am not a hotel snob, but I do like a basically clean room and consistent condition. That is why I like Hilton, but this one definitely missed the mark.

Room smelled horrible and the floor was sticky. There were roaches and other bugs everywhere. Never coming here again!
