Rooms smell horrible. They switched us three times and couldn’t find a room that didn’t smell like cigarettes.

We were in town for a surgical procedure. While at my procedure, our daughters was watching our dog for us. During that time, the owners came around opening up doors. They pretty much kicked my girls out of their room to paint the outside of the door. As they were sitting outside in the Texas heat, they watched them open our door without knocking or announcing who they were. Also, their room was dirty upon check-in. One other thing, we arrived about 2ish and was rudely told we couldn't check in yet. No problem, we went and got stuff that i needed. We got back and waited till 3. The front desk guy was MIA for an hour at least. My husband rang the bell, our daughter banged in their door and our other daughter walked the property looking for him. Needless to say this makes me sad as this was the only place we stayed whenever we came to town. It was always the place I would recommend to people coming through. Never in the last 8 years or so have we ever gotten such terrible service. We will unfortunately not be back. And corporate was of no use either, at the time of posting this..

Went to this location just to sleep on our road trip. Front desk was very nice. The bed was not comfortable. The pillows were not comfortable. The pool is for seasonal use only. The breakfast had hot biscuits and gravy, waffles, toast. The breakfast was very bare bones (NO peanut butter, cream cream, yogurts or fruit.) The breakfast was supposed to begin at 6:00 am but the girl didn’t arrive, she said she was locked out. They opened at 7:00. There was soap and shampoo, no conditioner or lotion March 2026 we paid $71 for king bed
