Red Roof Inn Amarillo

Not an OYO!! We had booked a room with booking .com. back in June for the WRCA rodeo. Well. No Longer A OYO property.!! Nothing from the hotel or from Booking.com. We show up, No reservations. Thank you Kirsten the manager and Corinne at the front desk! We got a room. At the rate promised!! The hotel is under remodel. The room was Clean. Great water pressure and all the hot water you want. The ladies saved our vacation.

The lady at the front desk was polite and caring-even went to check the first room I was given, as the door was magnetized against the key cards-even her master wouldn't open it. We went back to the office, and I was given a second floor room, which was nice. It is a bit pricey, for the location and the condition of the hotel as a whole, but it worked for one night.

I would have been better off sleeping in my truck than in this dump. The place is dirty, falling apart, stank, cigarette burn in the sheets, and to too it all off the heater didnt even work. This was the first and last time i stay at an OYO hotel.
