Comfort Suites Texas Ave.

I was in town unexpectedly for four nights while my fur baby was having emergency surgery at Texas A&M Veterinary Hospital. From start to finish, the staff was so compassionate, kind, and accommodating. Christine, Holly and Emmanuel made sure my stay was comfortable and asked about my cat Reggie every day as I was coming and going. It was so nice to celebrate the small and big wins Reggie was having after his surgery with them, given that I did not have any friends/family in Bryan. The location is very convenient and close to everything in town, and my room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. If I am ever in Bryan again, I will absolutely stay at Comfort Suites again due to the amazing service.

As Diamond Elite member of Choice Hotels, this was probably one of 3 of the worst stays I have had in 25 years. The front desk person had a horrible attitude, starting when we checked in and later in the evening when we lost the only key they gave us. At 10:15 pm the electric went out. The maintenance person was reported to be too drunk to drive to come in n fix it. Electric did not come back on for 2 hours. Room was dated and floor was filthy. This place was a “one and done”! Horrible experience. Do not recommend!

Considering our room was one of the newly renovated rooms this was disappointing. When we woke up this morning the were bugs in our luggage and on the countertops. We spent $217 for the night I expected better. We went to the hotel desk and told them what was wrong with the room with the bugs, we did not get a refund nor a discount because it was third party. The hotel people knocked on the door a bit after 8am to clean, not even checked out yet, ridiculous. Ice maker did not work on first floor, had to go to second floor...however the elevator did not work. Being disabled, stairs are an issue. I am mostly concerned about the bugs. Not sure what they were. Now we are taking a chance of bringing theses buts home.
