Best Western Garden Inn

This is my favorite hotel when traveling to Corpus Christi. It's about 10 minutes to Shoreline Drive, the beach and downtown restaurants. The hotel has super clean spacious rooms with refrigerator and microwave. Friendly and professional staff. Best of all -- guest rooms are reasonably priced.

Bugs, broken doors, broken tv, no ice, no help from front desk. Roaches running across we while in bed, ac did not work. Problems reported and not fixed.

Front desk lady was rude and finally got a little nicer towards end of convo. Tv channels lagged often. Room had 5 rather large dead bugs. 1-Cockroache, 2-crickets, 1-spider, 1- unidentified. Bare wires exposed and in carpet, mirror was dirty from same rag they probably used to clean entire room. Door seals are gone. Picture of curtains was at night. Gap was so large people can watch you get out of shower. Room was big, clean enough for blue collar guy. A lot of blue collar / welders here that just need shower and bed. Some guys outside drinking and grilling and they may not have been that loud but I could hear them as if they were in my room. But they were downstairs. Response to hotel: Managers say they will address issues it as you can tell from reviews they are not addressing issues. Need to reinvest into door seals, that would help keep bugs out as well as regular pest control methods.
