Comfort Suites

Due to flight delays, I didn’t arrive until 2:30 AM. I contacted IHG beforehand and was told there would be no issue because my reservation was guaranteed with a credit card. When I arrived with my children, the front desk said that they canceled my entire reservation because I arrived after midnight and there was “nothing they could do.” They kept my money for both nights and refused to honor the room I had already paid for. The only solution they eventually offered was for me to book and pay for additional room. Canceling a guaranteed reservation and then asking a guest to pay again is completely unacceptable. There was zero empathy or acceptance of them doing anything wrong from the front desk that night or the next morning. I just heard the word “it’s policy” multiple times. To make matters worse, both the lobby and room had a very strong mold/mildew odor. Between essentially stealing $500+ and the condition of the property, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Fortunately, I won the credit card dispute. Avoid this hotel.

Wonderful vacation stay at Holiday Inn Express @ 15209 Windward Drive Corpus Christi, TX where the manager Joann and Roger & Jesse at guess services and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our vacation stay experience wonderful. Room was excellent with an ocean view and there continues to be a complete complementary breakfast with eggs & bacon and coffee to start your morning. I highly recommend this facility for vacation because of high service standards and close proximity to the beach ⛱️

We walked into a fresh smell lobby which is hard on the island. We were greeted with friendly hellos. The room was awesome, clean and fresh smelling. The breakfast had a lot of choices. There were tea pods in the room and I loved one flavor and asked for another, they hunted a pod down for me and brought it to our room. I’d definitely come back.
