Travelodge Aransas Pass

The place was filthy. White 'stain' on blanket, roaches on walls, the deadbolt lock was completely broken off the wall so we couldn't lock our door. Furniture was gross and dirty. Men hanging out on the stairs and balcony. People asking for money as we tried to unload our vehicle. We refused to stay in a place that was unsafe for our family and absolutely filthy. A woman slamming against another hotel room door, asking for drugs from the people inside. Owner would not refund. We wasted over 300 dollars for two nights that we didn't use. We left immediately and had to find another hotel at the last minute.

Although it is an older motel, it is clean and the owners are nice. It has a small pool and breakfast too. The air condition was great! If you are looking for a place that is reasonably priced, then this is the right place for you.

I went with three of my good friends for spring break, and when we checked in, the lady wasn't very friendly, I got more conversation out of the cleaning crew. When I asked the lady at the front for more towels, as there were only two, she said I'd have to wait until the next day, so on my way back to the room I asked the cleaning crew and she gave me more towels AND two sets of clean sheets. The bathroom wasn't that fantastic, with cracks and stains everywhere, but perfect for us kids who were spending more time on the beach than in the room.
