The greatest reward about this Hampton, the employees experience. When I arrived on July 23 checking in, I was greeted with a smile and welcomed. I was offered my welcome bag and thanked for being a Honor member. Today July 24 when I was checking out, I was greeted with a smile by a lady in the hallway. The lady who checked me out was simply a precious doll- she made my heart smile. Just her sweet aura was what I needed to begin my day. She thanked me and wished me well - it was genuine! As far as the Hampton, it’s outdated, old, needs updated repairs and the website pictures are misleading. As a honors member, I felt like Hilton could do better when it comes to maintaining their brand. Upon my arrival, the parking lot and entryway needed attention. The hallways were dark and less inviting- a little uninviting when you have to turn down an area that’s boxed off from the main area to ride the elevator. Leading to my room, the carpet was dingy- just a simple carpet cleaning does wanders- And to further my experience, I am awaken to a loud banging noise —-construction on my floor. I asked the young man as I exited for today was the hotel under renovation -just a little patch work. My room was clean but because it was outdated and old it only felt decent just for my one night stay. The bed was comfortable as I checked for anything out of the ordinary. The coffee was super! The breakfast area/food was inviting - with bacon, eggs, red potatoes, cereal, juices, fruit, breads and muffin. Excellent choices! If you are just looking for a place to sleep it’s a choice - but if your expectation as Hilton honors member than it’s a choice but I probably will not return. I just expect more from the brand. Spend some money and rejuvenate this property which is in an excellent area of town.

This Hampton Inn needs a complete overhaul. The desk chair and lounge chair so stained I wouldn't go near it. Carpet so dirty had to keep feet covered unless in bed. The breakfast was good and check-in was friendly. Just really, really needs updated badly.

I scheduled a 1 night getaway with my son for something fun for the weekend while his older brother was out of town. His one request was for a hotel that had an indoor hot tub. Well, the hotel used to have a hot tub...it's now just a pool with the indoor hot tub area filled in and covered with tile. The photos for this hotel are outdated and Hamptons need to do a better job of saying online if there is a pool, hottub, or both. We won't be coming back.
