Quality Inn & Suites - Addison

Upon entering my room, I found it to be in unacceptable condition. There were bugs present, visible stains throughout the room, and trash left underneath the furniture. The overall cleanliness was far below basic standards, and the room had a strong, unpleasant odor. When I brought these issues to the attention of the staff, their response was dismissive and lacked urgency. Although I was eventually moved to another room, the experience had already caused significant inconvenience and discomfort. Additionally, I was later informed that my deposit would be withheld after staff observed me taking photographs of the conditions. This response was both concerning and inappropriate, as I was simply documenting legitimate issues with the room. Overall, this was a very negative experience, and it did not meet the expectations of a paying guest.

Disgusting. You die here. From the unhelpful staff who lie. To the disgusting rooms. Please see my pics. To the unusable disgusting pool. I strongly advise anyone NOT TO STAY HERE... You could actually contact a disease. My pictures should tell a story of the 24 hours I endured in this place. Please please please find another hotel. For a budget hotel, next door at the Best Western was great. Low budget with a pool that was clean.

Definitely a “not recommend” situation although my understanding is that the new mgmt is starting the process of fixing it up so that may change. My stay was pretty terrible from start to finish. Check In was “clumsy” - I got the distinct impression the clerk was new. Elevators non functional. The room was clean but the couch bed was broken which was a real problem as I was with family and specifically picked this room type for the couch bed. Worse, they changed our room and the second room couch was broken as well! As we were already there they gave me a discount for a 2nd room and we went with that. We were there to spend the night before surgery at a nearby hospital so I just wanted to settle in and be done with it. The manager told me they had taken over a few months ago and were working on the place so it might be better in a year or so but right now it’s definitely a no-go.
