Royal Inn Dallas NW

There were horsefiles in my room, i had to kill several, and I drove a few out the door. The bed was nice, the decor was indian style, not great, there were stains on the walls, carpet was terrible, AC worked pretty good. This is a seedy hotel. The tv was really bad, very fuzzy, just home shopping network and junk like that. Recommend you pass on this place, it was not worth the money i paid. I think the owners are indian, which means low quality all-around.

My friend, her daughter and I stayed here one night to go out and to a rangers game. My friend booked the hotel so it wasn’t my decision. I had no idea what kind of place it was. There were a lot of seedy looking people, men catcalling and women clearly altered stumbling down the stairs in their hooker hills. Legitimately the only thing I can say positive was the beds were pretty comfortable, if you don’t mind sleeping under ripped sheets and thin comforters with cigarette burns and lube stains on them. One outlet worked in the room, fridge and microwave in room but neither worked. Hair on towels and floor and bathtub. I am pretty easy going about hotels typically but this place was too shady for me. We did stay the night but did not feel safe as three women. Would not stay here again nor recommend unless you are looking for something extra curricular.

I can't speak for everyone else's review, but I had an excellent experience at this hotel. The room was very clean and the furniture and bed were clearly new. The price was very low, so I expected a traditional "budget" hotel experience, but the Royal Inn was way above my expectations. The only slight negative was that we could hear doors near us closing loudly while we were in the room. If you are looking for an inexpensive hotel in Dallas and are okay with a little noise, I definitely recommend this hotel.
