Do not go here me and my husband was getting ready to go to sleep and a man unlocked are room door and tryed to walk in luckily we had the top lock latched that is what stoped him IF YOU ARE THINKING OF STAYING HERE DONT DO IT

Roaches Roaches Roaches, told them and video the roaches to show them and they gave me an additude about it like it was my fault. Very bad customer service. AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS PLACE. Had ROACHES CLAWING IN BED AND SHOWER, MICROWAVE

My wife and I stayed for two nights here at America's Inn on a quick vacation trip to Houston the week between Christmas and New Year's in December 2022. We had a nice stay and enjoyed our time here. It is conveniently located right at the junction of two freeways - The US 59 Southwest Freeway and the Beltway 8 Sam Houston Tollway in far southwest Houston. This motel apparently was built in the mid-1980s and is a three story structure where all the rooms are accessed from the outside. It was constructed when this part of Houston was still fresh. Fast forward to 2022 and this area of town is not the greatest, but there are definitely worse spots in Houston. Despite this, the motel was quiet and relaxing while we were there. We had a room on the 2nd floor and felt safe the whole time. The gentleman who checked us in at the front desk was polite and friendly. Parking was convenient near our room. Our room was clean and well kept. The facilities (toilet, shower, bathtub, sink and heater/AC) were all in good working order. The price was right too at only about $60 per night and that included tax. The only thing I saw that could use some improvement were some cosmetic concerns - the main thing being paint pealing from some of the room doors (on both the outside and inside). Don't expect a luxury 5 star hotel if you stay here, but if all you need is a clean, acceptable and inexpensive place to lay your head for a few nights, this accommodation is as good as any in the area. We would surely stay here again should we find ourselves in this part of Houston again.
