Comfort Suites Houston

I was in the Houston area for a funeral and a business meeting. I was checked in promptly. My room was clean, and all was in working condition including the A/C, tv and iron. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable! The breakfast was very tasty with a good variety including eggs, sausage, french toast, waffles, dry cereal and fruit. The parking area was adequately lit. The staff was polite and helpful. My only recommendation would be to improve lighting in the bathroom. I'll definitely stay here again when returning to this area.

This place is in need of a makeover as it looks shopworn and things aren't all working. The outlets on the bed lamp didn't work, so I had to use my extension cord to connect the cpap. Couldn't print as it was broken, too. The hot tub has become what they call a kiddy pool and a resident was grilling next to the pool and - while friendly - had been imbibing to the point that trying to use the pool would have meant having no quiet time. The mattress was one of the things needing replacing as it was pretty lumpy. Breakfast was barely average. You can do better.

Clean, large rooms (although dated) and decent breakfast (for the low price) were hallmarks here. Best option in the area for us (relatives live nearby). Management was so cooperative on check-in and with our requests for help. Thank you Comfort Suites.
