Microtel Inn & Suites

This hotel smells like cigarette smoke-not just in my non-smoking room, has not been renovated in decades <--no lie, and has a serious breach of accountability. I am a federal employee whom uses a Government Issued Travel Card, yet someone in the chain of resposibility thought it was a good idea to defraud the governemtn and charge an additoinal $6861.92 for a 5 night stay. I had to report this to the U.S. Government Accountability Office. To boot....the charges were made 5 months after my stay and has continued with 6 other attempts of similar amounts over the last 5 weeks. My math is not mathin' and now im stuck with cleaning up a financial mess I did not create. If your looking to save $$ 'cuz this rate is cheaper like i did, dont bother. Pls consider paying a bit more to avoid possible charges later on that'll assuredly wipe out the savings you thought were getting.

Another regular stay place, always good to come here. Well run, clean Microtel on the space Parkway. Check-in by the Wyandham online system, just collect your key card at the desk. Nice large Queen bed suite room, had an issue with the TV so I was quickly and efficntly moved to another room, no other issues in the new room. Wifi a good 70 Meg, passcode on the card holder. Central loaction for visiting Houston. Happy to recommend again.

Old, tired, damp hotel. Decor from the 70s. Staff were nice enough. Don’t expect to use the pool (pond) as it’s dirty and looks unused as well as facing the parking lot.
