Dirty exterior door… dirty shower/tub… wallpaper coming off in kitchen… gnats in the garbage disposal and on anything you leave in the kitchen… worn out sofa that we covered with a sheet to sit on… the smell of marajuana coming through the big gap in the exterior door and being sucked into the room by the ac. You have to go to the office and pick up any kitchen equipment you need… including plates, utensils, cookware, coffee maker, etc. They did have an iron and ironing board already in the room. We rigged our door nightly to feel safe enough to sleep. And one night we had guys outside yelling real loud. If you are coming to Houston for cancer treatment or appts at MD Anderson - this is NOT a good place to stay. (I mean, you’re already sick, you don’t need to have to deal with all this too.) plus we had to pay $571 for 4 nights. There are better options available.

First the good: location! Location location. Clean interior. Kind staff. Checked out early, Car was empty but it was still there when we Woke up :) Now for the not great: Elevator is in a nook of gross. Smelled awful, cig and weed smoke embedding somehow in this exterior wall... in ceiling, we found hanging down, DIS-connected wires of a non-connected fire alarm. Metal was attached across a door that may or may not have been kicked in. PACKETS OF OATMEAL DO NOT MAKE A BREAKFAST... of any kind... along with instant coffee... this is NOT a grab and go breakfast. No fresh fruit. Zero options, This gives off a travel Motel vibe but with less client "frills" Than a random motel, possibly attached to a gas station, one might happen upon, on a random highway in the middle of nowhere. 1/2" gap or more under door, and door sides, at night lights are visible inside room from cracks around door. Not a place you would want to hang out while in Houston, Or anytime... AC was struggling to keep cool, traveling with family, one of our rooms had a carpet dryer IN THE ROOM going when we checked in at 9pm. Ac had poured all over floor somehow and the room was not acceptable to stay or sleep in.
