Scottish Inn & Suites - Hobby Airport

If you plan to staying in this hotel you should realize you're staying in a <$50/night a hotel (if you're paying more you're being overcharged) and set your expectations accordingly - this hotel is not and is not trying to be at par with its $99/night Houston counterparts. After you set your expectations right in my opinion the hotel meets them with one exception (see below): staff was not the Smile of the Day but not rude and did what was asked for, there was some breakfast, rooms were clean and there were no bugs or dirty sheets on the beds. The only disappointing thing for the hotel of its class though is the smell in the rooms - it's very disturbing and in my particular situation didn't let me sleep well. On the bright side the hotel is really conveniently located if you're travelling out of Hobby Airport.

Staff was rude! I switched rooms twice because the first one smelled horrible. The 2nd one wasn't any better but hours had pasted and I couldn't get a refund. The worst place I've ever seen. The parking lot was loud and full of people and the staff was in that group!
