Sun Valley Motel

This was a place to stop after a full day driving. It served its purpose. The room was clean. Check-in was easy. The pool was clean although all I did was sit by it. A nice restaurant right across the street so very convenient

Floors were dirty. Linens and pillows had other people's hair in them on arrival. The toilet was clean but the sink and bathroom counters also had long hairs and some filth on them. It looks like whoever cleaned the room just replaced the towels and cleaned the toilet. Some coffee packs were used on arrival. The coffee isn't a big deal, but it shows the level of detail thought of in cleaning. Had we not been so worn out from traveling I would have left. Finding others hair in your bedsheets is always gross.

This hotel located at Junction, Texas is a good intermediate point for our travel purposes. The rooms are well equipped with a microwave and a fridge; we booked two rooms but only one had a freezer. There was hanging space available and the bathroom floor was very well maintained. The toilet was in good condition and our shower was a tub with a cloth curtain. The heating/cooling was in good condition and the WiFi was working well. Breakfast was very limited to basic continental food. No hot food except waffles. We had checked in late and so the motel offered us a key pickup with a code. Plenty of free parking and a safe area to be in. A great stop for breaking the long travels.
