Lajitas Golf Resort and Spa

The sunrise horseback ride was amazing, Evo was a great guide and very knowledgeable. We appreciated info in places to go. Martina was awesome, very attentive and genuine, love her. Brook was always there for us when we had a question, very helpful and fun to banter with her.

We stayed here while visiting Big Bend NP which is about an hour drive. Our room had two large queen beds and a separate toilet and shower. The sink was in the bedroom area which caused a bit of congestion. Room had coffee maker and Direct TV. The property had an upscale restaurant, a saloon, and pizza shop/bakery. Two pools and laundry facilities in the adjacent RV park. Unique setting. Staff is super friendly.

Our family's trip to Lajitas Resort exceeded every expectation, thanks to outstanding service at every turn. Activity Booking Our decision to stay at Lajitas actually started before we even arrived — a phone call with the activity booking agent sealed the deal. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient as he helped us plan our stay. Check-In After a long drive, checking in was the perfect welcome to our vacation. The front desk staff member who greeted us was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable — a great first impression. Lodging Our cabin was clean, spacious, and dog-friendly, making it the perfect space for our 5-month-old lab to settle in comfortably alongside us. Food Boardwalk Bakery and Pizzeria had our business every single day of our stay. The coffee, kolaches, breakfast burritos, and pizza were all delicious, and the staff there were just as friendly as everyone else we encountered. Horseback Trail Ride The undisputed highlight of our trip was a sunrise horseback trail ride through Big Bend. My daughter, my father, and I were guided by Evo, an exceptional horseman. He was personable, funny, and a calm presence for us and the horses alike. He shared fascinating details about the local vegetation, the history of the area and resort, and pointed us toward "must-see" spots we never would have discovered on our own. The views were breathtaking, and he even captured stunning, frame-worthy photos of us that we'll treasure forever. This was, without question, the best trail ride we've ever taken — one of the true highlights of our lives, and something we'll never forget. From check-in to checkout, every part of our stay at Lajitas Resort was made better by the people who work there. We're already looking forward to our next visit.
