Comfort Inn & Suites

So when I come to Lubbock I usually stay at this hotel because of the service but this time there was so many issues from the moment I checked in. I checked in after 3 and my room wasn’t ready and they asked me to come back in 30 mins. Ok fine. Then when I get to the room there is one face cloth and 2 bath towels the room accommodates 4 so there should be enough towels for 4 people at least… when I asked for more towels they didn’t have any waited until morning still not enough towels so I bought towels so there would be enough. So I went to the dollar tree and bought towels so I would have enough… Kids went to the pool there was no pool towels…( there a theme here!) Then we left to do out activities and my room was not serviced. They said they knocked and no one answered…I shouldn’t have to wait to do what i need to do in order for my room to be serviced. The breakfast was not up to par either. There was no variety of anything. It was blueberry muffins and white bread. Then the hot foods (eggs,sausage, and potatoes) were cold. This has been the worst experience hopefully the owners and managers see this review and order more towels!

The hotel is so filthy and run down. The elevators are disgusting. They have trash and crumbs in them. My husband went downstairs to the laundry room to ask for washcloths because our room only had one. One lady behind the counter was talking out of her head and asking if we had brought the washcloth back down and said they can only provide one washcloth per room.. how I this even possible.. so my husband asked… what if we had four people to a room.. are we supposed to share one washcloth? So the young girl at the front got up and gave one to my husband. Today as we were packing to leave… I started checking the bed to see if we left anything behind.. I took off a cover that they had that goes over the comforter… the comforter was stained with blue spots.. maybe like Gatorade or something like that.. I can’t believe we slept with a filthy comforter… I will never come back to this nasty hotel.. This hotel should be rated a 1 star for sure!

I arrived to find trash can near front door overflowing and on the ground. The next morning , nothing had changed! My check in, pre booked, was normal. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The a/c was working great. The baseboards were dirty. There was a huge stain on the sofa. Furniture was chipped and scarred. The swivel chair was almost same as sitting on the floor. The bathroom wall was beaten up where the door had struck it. The door to the bathroom was inoperable. It dragged on the floor and could not be budged by my wife. It has been that way a long time. On departure, there was no one on the desk. This facility is below standards in many ways.
