Guest House Inn & Extended Stay

Typical old and beaten up hotel near other chain hotels. Relatively clean and quiet. Breakfast is below average, coffee machine needs cleaning. Price is affordable and if you are traveling on a budget - it is a good choice. Other than that, nothing to write home about.

Stumbling upon the Guesthouse Inn was my lucky day. I needed to be in Lubbock for about two weeks, so I needed a comfortable place to stay with reasonable rates within proximity to the hospitals. In addition to an immaculate room (the inn is freshly painted), they provide a continental breakfast plus hot waffles. But the best part about the inn is that it's unique--family owned and operated. Thus I felt like I was at home. Staff treats guests warmly as an expression of their philosophy that travelers are indeed guests in their inn, which makes this inn the most relaxing place to stay. No spa, no exercise room, just a simple, relaxing, clean, reasonable, quiet, stay with wonderful hosts.

What a pleasant suprise! Located within walking distance of Covenant Hospital, this is the perfect place for anyone needing to stay in the medical district. By far one of the quietest hotels I've ever stayed in. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower hot with excellent pressure. And the ceiling fan over the beds? Total game changer for temp control! Free continental breakfast. I would definately stay here again.
