DAYS INN SAN ANTONIO LYTLE

The pictures they have is super old. Stains on the carpet. Pool was closed because of COVID 19 but the pool doesn’t look like that and the water looks green. I was told dogs stay free so when I went up there they told me $50 per night and they can’t help me I can go else where but then told me $30 a night. That cost more than a Hilton pet fee. We found a big spider not a small one but a big one. Black hair on the towel and sink and shower. Toilet was running and we had to keep putting water in it to flush. Told the front desk he said he will let the house keeper know. And when I told him to kill the spider he said he’ll let the house keeper know to kill it. I told him no I have to leave soon and my dog will be there. He asked if I want him too and I said yes. They will not clean your room if you have a dog there. The breakfast vouchers they use voice papers and one had a lady’s ID information that gave me her address her birthday etc. I told him and all he did was put two marks on it. I told him no that’s someone’s information. You need to throw it away and shred that. He asked if I want a new voucher and I said yes. Don’t use those papers for vouchers. Are you going to shred mine and he said no they don’t keep voice papers. Like wtf they do. Just terrible.

The place is filthy i put towels in the bathtub to shower , although i brought soaking bath materials i could not sit in that nasty bathtub. Nor did i go barefoot in the room about 6 inches from the chest of drawers is a dark green plush carpet like when it was knew the rest of the carpet in the room looks like its been bleached two seperate colors. My reservation was never confirmed till it was to late to cancel. and although the room rate was right there on the internet i was still charged almost double the price. it was a non-smoking room and it smelt faintly of tobacco and the bed spread had wholes burnt in it.

At Days Inn (Lytle), I experienced a pleasant and comfortable overnight stay. Staff was friendly, room was clean, and breakfast was delicious. Its proximity to HEB store and fuel pumps is also a plus. Easy access from and to I-35 makes for uncomplicated travel.
