Prince Solms Inn B&B

This is a tough one. On one hand the inn is beautiful, like taking a step back in time to a more elegant era. Our room (#3) was wonderful. Ceiling fans in both the bedroom and in the parlor. A very comfortable bed too! Service from all staff especially John the gm and Abbie a server in the downstairs bar made for a great stay. So, on the other hand, the inn is located kitty corner (about 50 yards) from a newly opened Irish bar pub which decided to blast live music on St. Paddy's day until midnight. When I asked if there was a noise cutoff time I was told midnight during the week and 1am on the weekend. So our first night was rough despite having ear plugs and noise cancelling headphones. The second night, knowing music would stop we were better prepared mentally and fortunately the music ended at 11pm. Whew. A much better night's rest. None of noise is the inn's fault, they clearly state the area can get "busy" so my fellow travelers, a warning, if you stay at this beautiful inn go in knowing that bar (Kennedy's ) will be rockin.

Spent the night with four other couples to celebrate two birthdays in the group. The hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location for enjoying downtown. Sidecar and the hotel bar were closed that evening but the Mullet Room was the perfect place to gather before our time out on the town. Staff made sure we had everything we needed and then some. Highly recommend.

My husband, myself, brother and his wife stayed for one night this past weekend and the experience was great! Absolutely stunning Inn. The rooms were beautiful and CLEAN! The sat felt very personal, and the too balcony made the experience feel very exclusive. The staff were nothing short of fantastic.very hospitable. I believe we met the owner, or manager and he was patient with us and kind. The Bartender in the saloon was quick and nice. Over all, a great experience and would LOVE to stay again during Christmas time. The only ONE issue, was the noise but we stayed up late so we ended up going to bed when the noise ended. Either way, I recommend!
