Resort at New Braunfels

We recently stayed at WorldMark New Braunfels with our family of five, and it was honestly one of the best resort stays we've had. The space was perfect for a family our size. My two daughters had their own bedroom and bathroom, my older son had a loft with a surprisingly comfortable sofa bed (he never once complained), and my wife and I had a private en suite bedroom with a large bathroom and walk in closet. Every bedroom even had its own TV including the loft my son was sleeping in, which made a huge difference for keeping everyone happy. The full size kitchen was a game changer. It had all the appliances, dishes, and silverware we needed, plus a full size refrigerator, so we could cook breakfast every morning just like we were at home. That alone saved us a good amount of money on the trip. Honestly, it felt less like a resort stay and more like living in our own house for a few days. It was the next best thing to renting a private Airbnb, but with resort level service on top. The staff went above and beyond. They kept us stocked with fresh towels, paper towels, coffee filters, and coffee throughout our stay, and they were always ready to help with anything we needed. There was also a movie borrowing service to use in the in-room dvd players, a small gym, and a fun arcade and play area for the kids, which was a nice bonus. The only area that could use improvement is the pool. It felt a bit small and basic compared to the overall size and quality of the resort, so that's really the one thing I'd love to see upgraded. Aside from that, everything about our stay was fantastic. We would absolutely go back every time we visit Texas. This place is a must stay for families.

Worldmark New Braunsfels exceeded our expectations. The staff were excellent and the 3 br 2 bath was very nice and had plenty of room. The resort is close to shopping and restaurants and is only a couple of blocks away from the historic downtown Gruene with boutique shops, a general store, and the old time dance hall. I highly recommend this place and as of 6/29, there's a pregnant deer who like to come up to the first 2 buildings on the right as you come up the hill past registration. She likes to eat watermelon, crackers, and bread and will eat off of the front porch while you sit about 3 feet away.

Fully equipped and comfortable cabins, it is a beautiful place, the only downside is that they do not have free internet, you have to pay for it.
