Best Western Ocean Villa

Pros: Location was very close to the beach, staff was nice, waffle maker, quiet Cons: Roaches (I killed 12 German Cockroaches in just one afternoon), no one could help me move rooms or contact pest control. It really put a damper on my beach vacation. Note: I was on the second floor, room 228.

The location is good and a short drive or walk to the beach. Overall a well-kept hotel. Breakfast is particularly good in terms of offerings and quality. HOWEVER, the hotel uses old bed sheets that no longer stay in place -- the bottom sheet elastic is too worn. So I spent the nights there trying to keep the bedsheet from wrapping around me and did not have restful sleep.

Very disappointed in this property. Room was not available to check in and staff unwilling to provide any expectations, only lack of staffing excuse. Semi-friendly, though not useful front desk staff turned to unpleasant and confrontational posture. This property has an obvious staffing problem and is demonstrably customer unfriendly.
