HUNTS CASTLE HOTEL

We stayed in room 103 and it is a nice room. The room was clean. The kitchen has been upgraded. The fridge was mid size. The beds are comfortable with nice big pillows, the air conditioner work great, the pier and deck are nice and lighted. Tv was small but worked. Previously we stayed in 104 and it also was a decent room. The staff are kind and if you have a problem they work to fix it. Now here are my complaints, the pool needs to be resurfaced, but the water was clean, the hot tub was out of order. The doors were difficult to open sometimes and one lamp in our room didn't work.There is not a tv in the main bedroom other then that this is a good and comfortable place to stay if you are wanting to fish and relax. The price is decent and they offer coffee and donuts in the morning. Could the rooms be cleaner? Yes, but again this is not the place you come on your honeymoon. This is a fishing hotel and it seem the owners are slowly working to upgrade it.

This was the filthiest, MOLD infested room I ever experienced! If I could give it Zero stars I would. It is a health hazard with all the black mold. Awful!!!!

The pictures are no where near how the property nor rooms look. We should’ve known by our arrival time there parking lot wasn’t full. As we unloaded our belongings into the room we tried to get the kids situated connecting to the WiFi, that didn’t wrk as we were in the further rooms from the office ont he 3rd floor. Our tvs didn’t even have range to the WiFi so we couldn’t even just watch tv. You can tell they sprayed the rooms prior to us getting in as the smell good were disappearing you can smell the mildew/black mold in the rooms. The walls in the bathroom were covered in it and the fridge was not cleaned at all. There was black mildew all around the inside door and dirty inside and out. No hot water in the shower nor in the kitchen and bathroom sinks. The main bed had either some type of bugs rooming with us as there were just hanging out on the corner of the bed.
